Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi: On Ritika’s behest, RV apologises to Ishaani and Shikhar!
In the recent episode, we saw a baffled Ritika returning home from Shikhar’s place. RV follows her and seeks her apology for failing to keep his word and involving himself too much in exposing Ishaani’s lie. Ritika refuses to accept RV’s apology or entertain his promises for a happy union. However, she asks him to seek apology from Ishaani so that others too respect her back. RV agrees to do Ritika’s bidding and visits the pre-marriage functions of Shikhar and Ishaani. RV offers an apology to Ishaani in the presence of Shikhar and his family and even congratulates Shikhar for his marriage. Shikhar and his family instantly forgive RV and asks him to let bygones be bygones.
Shikhar’s father – the ever so kind Mr. Mehra – asks Ritesh to skip doing the ritual to avoid unnecessary expense as the groom’s clothes will be made by a designer. However, Shikhar’s aunts insists on performing the ritual and that too at the residence of Ishaani’s family. Ritesh and Baa happily invite Shikhar’s family for the ceremony. Later, Baa and Chaitali begin preparation for Shikhar’s tilak ceremony at their rented apartment. Devarsh arrives to express disappointment about their financial inability to well-treat the rich Mehras and predicts about being insulted by the Mehras during the tilak.
At the doorstep, Ishaani stands hearing the conversation and assures that no such unkind treatment will be meted to her family by her in-laws.
