Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi: Ritesh sells his property for Ishaani’s ‘Bhaat’ ceremony
In the recent episode, we saw RV carrying on with his angry tirade to belittle Ishaani while her would-be in-laws overhear the scandalizing revelations. He even goes to the extent of saying that he could search for her fourth target – perhaps a doctor – who could satiate her desire for money and gold.
After RV gets done with his jibes, Ishaani moves on for her bhaat ceremony. Shikhar’s aunts show least interest and smirk at Ishaani’s family for their financial incapability. They assume that Ishaani’s family will come up with their humble presents while performing the ritual. However, Ritesh surprises Baa, Chaitali and Ishaani presenting several expensive gifts to Ishaani. On being asked, Ritesh reveals that one of his old properties got released from a dispute, he sold it to secure money for Ishaani’s wedding. He also says that what he has done for Ishaani is not enough before the kindness showered by her father Harshid while he was alive.
While the festivities are on, RV passes another remark to ruin Ishaani’s mood. Shikhar notices her in a sad state and tries making her smile by telling a joke. Ishaani, however, turns a deaf ear to Shikhar and instead watches RV clicking a selfie with an old woman. Ishaani smiles looking at RV’s gesture and Shikhar notices it. He comments that there are two people in a person’s life – one who makes smile and the one who makes sad. But, the one who makes you smile and sad is the most important person.
