If the revelation that Ritika (Smriti Khanna) is the real villain in Ishaani and Ranveer’s love story was not shocking enough, the surprising fact regarding Chirag’s (Ravjeet Singh) murder mystery in which Ritika had a major role, has left us even more stupefied.
In the recent episode, we saw Ritika, in a soliloquy, confessing that she was supposed to marry Ishaani’s relative Sharman Parekh. But, her attraction towards the charming yet wicked Chirag left her in the lurch. Chirag used her to satiate his sexual craving and then refused to accept her when she got pregnant. Chirag told her that he wanted to get even with RV by snatching Ishaani from him and thus make him miserable. However, driven by anger and frustration, Ritika killed Chirag to exact revenge from him for deceiving her. Then after, she tried luring Devarsh to accept her as his wife, but in vain. Finally, Ritika trapped RV so that he could give his name to her unborn child.
So that’s the story so far. In the upcoming episode, we can expect to see Ritika playing nice to stay in Ishaani’s good books. However, her truth is bound to be out soon.
