Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi: Ranveer to make Ishaani wear “sindoor” and “mangalsutra”!
Until now, we had seen Ishaani (Radhika Madan) giving an earful to Ritika (Smriti Khanna) for serving breakfast to Ranveer (Shakti Arora) like a wife does. Ishaani pushes Ritika’s samosa aside and lovingly serves dhokla to Ranveer instead. She says that since they will be eating a heavy lunch at Devarsh’s wedding, it is better for RV if he eats something light for breakfast. Ritika gest miffed with Ishaani for turning down the samosa made by her and argues that RV’s choice has changes over the past many months. Ishaani gives an earful to Ritika for the jibe by saying that RV did not eat dhokla in recent times because none could cook it the way she does. Ritika gets even more defeated when Ishaani asks her to give up the idea of serving RV as his real wife is back in his life now.
Later, Ranveer arrives at Devarsh’s wedding. The lawyer, who had warned RV to look after Ishaani, sees him at the wedding making an entry all alone and questions him about Ishaani’s whereabouts. RV defends himself by arguing that Ishaani is not a child that he has to tag her along wherever he goes. He also says that Krisha is his friend Shikhar’s sister; hence, he is attending the wedding from the bride’s side. The lawyer gets put off by RV’s arrogant answer and asks him to offer the explanation to the court. Just then, Ishaani enters the venue and speaks in RV’s defence. She tells the lawyer that an explanation won’t be needed on RV’s part and also asks him to refrain from using biting speech while talking to her husband as the latter is not a criminal. Ishaani goes on to say that her husband RV loves her a lot and there is no reason for him to show it off. So, if they arrive separately to the wedding, it is not body’s business.
In the next episode, Ishaani and Ranveer will sit in apooja amidst the presence of all the members of their family and Ritika as well. The priest will notice Ishaani’s mangalsutra and sindoor missing when she is a married woman. Ishaani will act innocent and tell the priest that she forgot to wear the mangalsutra and sindoor in a hurry. She will start wearing the mangalsutra around her neck; but the priest will stop her from doing so by saying that a married Hindu woman’s husband must rightfully make her wear the ornament according to the scriptures.
This will leave Ritika fuming and RV puzzled.
