‘Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi’ POLL: Should Ishaani say ‘NO’ to Shikhar?
In the recently aired episode of Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, we saw two major developments taking place in the show. On one hand, we saw Ritika (Smriti Khanna) playing her wicked self and pretending to be hurt when being questioned by a suspicious Ishaani (Radhika Madan) about the real father of her unborn child. Not just she blamed Ishaani’s brother Sharman for fathering her child and then turning his back on her; she also insisted on doing the DNA test to win Ishaani’s trust. However, Ishaani melted hearing Ritika’s arguments and asked her to skip the DNA test.
Later, we also witnessed an unusual occurrence, when Shikhar (Arjun Bijlani), to our surprise, noticing the lingering sadness on Ishaani’s visage, asked her to rethink over her decision to marry him. He assured her that he would handle if she decides to call it quits and mouths the clichéd dialogue that if you set your love free, and if it comes back to you, it was meant for you. He asks her to spend the mehendi night thinking about it. Now, to see someone like Shikhar, who has been possessive about Ishaani, and has been hell bent on marrying her from day 1, having a change of heart is nothing short of a miracle.
Considering the titanic transformation in Shikhar from being a playboy to Mr. Scapegoat in Ishaani and RV’s love story, do you think Ishaani should not marry Shikhar who is more deserving of her affection than RV? Shikhar has stood by Ishaani when she was slapped with charges of theft and even his family adores her.
