Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi: Ishaani and her family dress-up in Punjabi outfits to please Shikhar’s family during the ‘Tilak’ ritual!
In the recent episode of Meri Aashiqui… we saw Ishaani visiting her paternal family to lend a helping hand in making preparations for Shikhar’s tilak ceremony. Baa and others feel sorry for not being financially strong enough to make proper arrangements for the function. However, Ishaani reminds her brother Devarsh that the Parekhs are principled people and believe in valuing the person for his self-worth rather than his clothes; hence there is no point in crying over their humble means.
She also assures Baa that the preparations they will make for the Mehra will definitely be appreciated by them. Finally, Ishaani decides to cook Punjabi food and Baa gets on her toes to prepare Gujrati food. After getting done with the work, Ishaani announces that they will keep the Punjabi theme for the function to please Shikhar and his family. Ishaani hires the services of a budding designer as a reasonable rate and fetches the dresses from her.
By the time it is evening, the Parekhs get dressed in colourful Punjabi outfits. The Mehras get delighted to be welcomed so warmly by the Parekhs. Ishaani gets worried looking at the door in anticipation of RV’s arrival. However, Shikhar assures her that RV won’t bother them anymore as he has promised to keep away from them.
