Pavitra may enter Mahabharat as Hidimba on Star Plus?
Mahabharat, a mythological show on Star Plus is one of the most popular mythological shows on Indian TV currently. With a pacey and accurate story line, the show is gaining popularity with not just the older but even the young generation.
With Draupadi's entry, a new audience has already been tuning into the show. And now the glamour quotient goes up higher with the rumored entry of Pavitra. She will apparently play the role of demoness Hidimba who, according to the myth, falls in love with Bheem and his son. This son goes onto help the Pandavas during the Mahabharat.
The Pandavas, after having their house burnt down are living in the forest under the guise of rishis. Hidimba will come across the princes in the jungle and seeing Bheem's mighty strength will fall in love with him. She has his son but raises him alone after they leave.
Pavtira, who was famous for her role in Love you Zindagi on Star Plus, has allegedly joined the team but was unavailable for comment.
