Mahabharat: Coming up – the epic ‘Game of Dice’!
In Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s ‘Mahabharat’, we will be soon watching the deadly ‘Game of Dice’, which created a name of its own in the history of India.
It the same game plan that involved getting the Pandavas disrobed and deprived of all their wealth. In the ongoing track, we have seen how Duryodhana has been offended by Draupadi’s laughter when he mistook an illusory pool to be a pathway and fell into it by his sheer ignorance and arrogance. Now, Duryodhana’s evil mind has become even more desperate to overthrow the Pandavas from their Kingdom Indraprastha.
In latest episode, we will see that despite their wise uncle and well-wisher Vidur's advice, King Yudhishtir accepts the invitation. Pandavas arrive at Hastinapur to a cold reception. He highly intuitive Sahdev gets ominous feelings as soon as they enter the Dyut Sabha (Play hall). He warns his brother of an impending danger but Arjun pacifies his anguish by asking him to keep firm faith on their Grandsire – Bheeshma – who won’t allow any mishap to happen. On the other hand, Bheeshma is worried as he is not confident about Shakuni’s intentions and decides to speak to Duryodhan.
But Duryodhan has a plan at work. When he looks at Draupadi entering the hall, he divulges his evil plan to disrobe her before everyone, much to Shakuni and Dushasan’s surprise.
