The war between the Kuru princes is on its last leg as only a handful of warriors are left on th battlefield to fight.

In the recent episodes, Ashwathama and Dhrishtadyumna were seen lighting up the funeral fire of their respective fathers. Angry over the cold blooded murder of his father when he had surrendered, Ashwathama vows revenge and promises to use Brahma’s weapon on the Pandavas.

Arjun counters Ashwathama’s comment by telling him that he knows they will have to pay the price of Drona’s death but it will be the Pandavas who will ultimately kill the Kauravas.

At the camp, Arjun and Bheem tell Draupadi not to bewail the loss of her kinsmen as punishing the men who insult women is mandatory otherwise tomorrow someone will insult Uttara or any other woman. They also tell her to gear up to wash her hair with Dushasan’s blood as her sons will come to her camp to take her to the battlefield.

At the Kaurava camp, all the remaining warriors hold a meeting and Duryodhan appoints Karna as the next chief of his army. Shalya taunts everyone by saying that soon they will meet a bad end and their efforts to win will go in vain. Karna asks Shalya to shut up but the former says he doesn’t care about the orders of a suta putra. Karna’s insult hurt’s Duryodhan and he punishes Shalya by ordering him to play the role of Karna’s charioteer from henceforth.

During the next day of war, Bheem challenges Dushasan to come forth for a duel. He beats him severely and tells him that he won’t kill him that easily.

Next, we will see how Dushasan dies and how his parents as well as other kinsmen react to learn about his death.
