Kumkum Bhagya: Tanu gives an important promise to Abhi!
In the recent episode, we saw Tanu (Leena Jumani) stubbornly demanding Pragya (Sriti Jha) to reveal the truth about her pregnancy to Abhi’s (Shabir Ahluwalia) Dadi. However, Abhi gets upset with Tanu’s unjust demand and rebukes her sharply for thinking selfishly rather than showing concern for his ailing Dadi. He tells Tanu to learn how to be good from Pragya. He lectures Tanu on Pragya’s inherent goodness and asks her to brace herself for being a good mother and alongside learn the qualities of being a good wife and a good daughter-in-law from Pragya. Finally, Abhi asks Tanu to promise him that she won’t let anyone know that she is pregnant with his baby, not Pragya. He adds that if she breaks the promise, he will also not hesitate to break all the promises given to her. Tanu reluctantly promises Abhi to keep her pregnancy a secret till the right time comes.
The next morning, Bulbul (Mrunal Thakur) visits the Mehra house. She drops in unannounced in Abhi and Pragya’s bedroom. She begins arranging toys by Pragya’s side when Abhi and she are asleep. Abhi wakes up to see Bulbul engaged in the job and wonders what she is up to. Bulbul jokes with Abhi and pulls his leg as usual. Pragya too wakes up listening to Bulbul and Abhi’s banter. She gets embarassed to see the dolls Bulbul brought for her. Bulbul manages to send Abhi out of the room to have a private talk with Pragya. She asks Pragya how she got cozy with Abhi in the jungle when she simply proposed him. Pragya tries ignoring the question out of sheer embarrassment. Just then, Tanu barges inside the room whining about keeping the promise given to Abhi. She gets baffled to see Bulbul in the room, while Bulbul too gets alert to witness Tanu in Abhi and Pragya’s room. Bulbul refuses to let Tanu go, and quizzes her about the promise she gave to Abhi. This act of questioning on Bulbul’s part leaves Tanu speechless and Pragya worried.
