FIRST LOOK: Sriti Jha and Mrunal Thakur reveal their characters in ‘Kumkum Bhagya’
Ekta Kapoor’s new show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ which is raring to go on air on Zee TV soon, is a story of a mother in search of that perfect groom for her daughters. Basically, the story of the show is inspired from British author Jane Austen’s popular works who wrote at length about the condition of women in the marriage market.
The channel was keeping the look of the two important characters – Bulbul (Mrunal Thakur) and Pragya (Sriti Jha) under wraps but we managed to get the exclusive picture of the on-screen sisters just for you!
The picture features Sriti and Mrunal who are playing siblings in the show in their nerdy avatar. Sporting black framed spectacles and holding reading material in their hands, the girls can be seen seated in an (empty?) airplane. We wonder where they are headed.
