It is wedding season for sure as after Ruslaan Mumtaaz of Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara fame, it is actor Jai Soni who has embraced matrimony now.
Jay, who is currently working in Colors’s show Sanskaar, married Pooja Shah as per traditional Gujrati rites and rituals on February 18, 2014. "We chose our wedding date to be 18th because we couldn't choose 14th as because of Valentine’s Day all venues were booked,” said Jay to the press.
The pre-nuptial functions such as Hadi and Sangeet were attended by close friends and family on February 16. The main wedding festivities saw popular telly stars like Shamim Manan, Vishal Singh, Karan Wahi, Pooja Kanwal, Munisha khatwani, Prashant Bhatt, Sandeep Sickand, Bhairavi Raichura and Sudhir Pandey.
The newlyweds will be taking off to the beaches of Goa to enjoy their mini honeymoon as Jai has got only 8 days off from work. However, the couple has big plans for April. “Right now we are going to Goa. The beach honeymoon suits us well. Our official honeymoon will be around April but the destination is unplanned."
It is an arranged marriage for Jai Soni and wife better half but he is happy with what life has gifted him. “I feel great, blessed since there is no worry of any obstacle. The love is pure between us as our purpose for meeting was marriage." Jay, who is a complete mama’s boy, is glad to see endless smiles on his mother’s face. "My mother is very happy with me settling down in matrimony. I feel blessed after getting married.”
