Gutthi in Akshay Kumar's Gabbar?
“Gutthi” who brought the actor Sunil Grover to fame is rumored to be moving to greener pastures. News on the grapevine is that he will be playing “Gutthi” again in Akshay Kumar’s film Gabbar.
Sunil Grover reportedly had a disagreement with the producers of the show over financial matters. There rumor mill was also that the host of the show, Kapil Sharma and he didn’t get along and Kapil was getting insecure with Gutthi’s popularity.
Later the news of him hosting his on show on Star plus starting doing the rounds. This is when Colors issued a notice saying that he can’t play the character Gutthi on another channel as it is the intellectual property of Viacom18 Media, the parent company of Colors.
The truth is, whether on Colors, Star Plus or in the movies, we would love to see Gutthi again and roll with laughter. Hope that happens soon enough!
