Comedy Nights with Kapil: Why are people being asked to pay Rs. 10, 000 to watch the show?
If the Khans are the bigwigs of Bollywood, then Kapil Sharma has made a name for himself in the world of Indian television. Kapil, who is known for his stand-up comedy act in his show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, is a brand in himself.
Now the situation is that some strangers are using Kapil’s name to make some quick money by misleading his fans. A daily reports that a group of thieves are selling passes of Kapil’s show for Rs. 10,
Worried about the effect this scam could have on the show’s goodwill, Preeti Simoes, Creative director of Comedy Nights with Kapil, alarmed the viewers via her tweet, "Guyz need ur help!!Plz spread de word dat no one shud PAY for passes to ANYONE to watch CNWK shoot..itz a scam!” (sic)
Moreover, people are being asked to shell out an additional sum of Rs. 10, 000 in case they wish to ask a question or two on the show.
The entry to watch the show is free but only a selected few are invited to attend the shoot.
