Vindhya Tiwary becomes Kajol of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ for new show!
The tall and dainty actress – Vindhya Tiwary – who was last seen as a terrorist named Roma in Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions’ ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ – will be soon returning to small screen in a new show called ‘Yeh Ishq Nahin Aasan’. By what we hear, the title of the upcoming romantic series might be changed to ‘Phir Bhi Na Maane Badtameez Dil’.
In the serial, Vindhya will be essaying the part of a girl called Sasha who is much like Kajol in Karan Johar’s college caper ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. The interesting fact is Vindhya will be seen wearing western dresses that befits a 20-year old much unlike the characters she has played in shows like ‘Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein’ and ‘Maryada’.
A source from the set shares that people can’t recognise her due to her new look and often ask if she is the same saree clad girl from ‘Maryada’. Many onlookers get tricked to believe she is a newcomer.
