Jodha-Akbar: Will Sharifuddin succeed in snatching Jodha from Jalal?

Now that Jalal has freed Sharifuddin from the jailhouse at Jodha Begum’s behest, the pregnant Bakshi Banu is elated to have the father of her baby by her side.

Sharifuddin’s release from jail came as a sweet surprise for every member of Jalal’s household while Bakshi was getting bestowed with gifts during her ‘Godh Bharai’ ceremony. All the women related to Bakshi gave her the choicest gifts during the rites. While Hamida Begum (her mother) gifted a pair of ornate shoes for her newborn baby, the kindhearted Salima Begum gave her a certain Holy Book. Then after, Ruqaiya Begum came forward to present her gift unto Bakshi. She gifted the mother-to-be a cradle for her baby. All eyes were then fixed on what Jodha Begum is going to gift her darling sister-in-law. However, Jodha’s gift turned out to be much precious for Bakshi as she saw her husband, Sharifuddin standing before her.

So, at last the Emperor accepted Jodha's plea to release Sharifuddin’s from jail for his pregnant sister's sake. Bakshi’s joy knew no bounds when she hugged her husband. But later, Sharifuddin’s not-so-sharif intentions were revealed during his soliloquy as he spoke about winning Jodha Begum’s love by employing yet another cheap tactic.

But now that Jodha and Jalal are closer than before, will he be really able to win the gem of a queen Jodha by any trick or again end up getting thrown in jail, albeit this time for good? We wonder how others will react to Sharifuddin’s evil designs this time around!
