Jodha-Akbar: Will Jalal accept Jodha’s new proposal?
Jodha and Akbar are in a happy space right now, all because of their growing fondness for each other. This couple, who was kept apart until now by Ruqaiya Begum, is discovering the bright side of each other’s’ being these days. While Jalal is trying to please his Rajput Begum by way of small gestures like offering prayers of her deity, sweet talking with her every now and then and what not, we wonder whether the ruler will be able to grant this one wish Jodha has presented before him of late.
By that we mean to say that Jodha has requested Jalal to forgive his sister Bakshi Banu and free her husband Sharifuddin from the reins. Why? Because Bakshi Banu is pregnant with her husband’s child and is seeking redemption for the crime done by them to tarnish Begum Jodha’s reputation.
But as we know that Jalal is ready to forgive anyone but a traitor, hence, there is no relief for Bakshi Banu and Sharifuddin. However, Jodha has taken Jalal’s mother Hamida Banu Begum in her confidence to help her support in convincing Jalal.
But will the hard taskmaster and disciplinarian Jalaluddin give in to his dainty Begum’s wish? Let us wait to know that!
