In the latest episode of Jodha Akbar, we saw Prince Salim leaving the palace with his army to confront Mirza Hakim and Sharifuddin with their massive army on the battle ground. Anarkali comes to see him for once. Witnessing Salim in his princely glory, she thinks that in the end the soldiers will sacrifice their life to win the war while the Prince will bag credit for the victory.

Later, while strategizing with his men, Salim volunteers to stay at the forefront to inspire his army. On the other hand, Anarkali’s mother Zil urges her to pray for Salim’s life as well. Anarkali rubbishes the idea of praying for Salim and argues that it is the soldiers who need blessings more than the heir. Yet, a part of her convinces her to seek divine blessings for Salim as well.

At the rescue camp, the divine messenger of God leads Jalal to the warehouse where Jaidev has hidden crops sent by the Mughal Sultanate. Jalal gets shocked to realise how Jaidev is keeping everyone in the dark. He also comes to know that Jaidev is keeping the stock to help feed Mirza Hakim and Sharifuddin’s army for the time they will be on the battlefield. Jalal kills the henchmen employed by Jaidev to watch over the warehouse. But, before Jalal could take his next step, Jaidev comes in and closes the door of the warehouse. Later, Jalal informs Jodha about Jaidev’s ulterior motive. When royal couple goes about enlightening people about the whole issue, Jaidev throws his card by changing the location of the stock of grains. Jalal takes the people to the place where he found Jaidev’s stock but finds nothing there. Jaidev finds a good chance to hurl allegations on Jalal for maligning his name. Jodha being the Sarpanch is asked to do justice and ultimately she is forced to pass on the orders of giving 10 whips to Jalal as punishment for his attempt to impose false charges on Jaidev. Jodha gets severely heartbroken to see Jalal being beaten with the whip as does Rukaiya.

Later, the divine messenger of God explains the ‘what goes around comes around’ diktat to Jalal and says that whatever painful situations he is going through is because of his own Karma.
The next day, during Holika celebrations, Jodha forgives Jalal and restores his honour publicly by asking him to light up the sacred fire. In the morning, while playing Holi, Jaidev crosses the line of decency by throwing colour on Jodha. Jalal, Rukaiya and Jodha get baffled to witness Jaidev’s defiling action but retrain their anger. To dishonor Jodha and satify his lust, Jaidev invites Jodha to his son’s birthday celebrations in the evening. Jodha calmly accepts the invitation but Jalal vows to teach him a lesson for insulting his beloved Queen-wife.

Will Jaidev’s lie be exposed by Jalal and Jodha this time?
