Jodha Akbar: Show takes 4 month leap!
In the recently aired episode of Zee TV’s historic series, we saw people living life after 4 months of Maham Anga’s death.
Jodha begum, who is almost ready to give birth to her twins in a month’s time, was shown being looked after very well by Rukaiya begum. Meanwhile, back at her paternal home, Jodha’s grandmother was shown getting worried for the effect of the curse given my Maham Anga to Jodha.
As things unraveled, we saw Rukaiya pressing Jalal to permit Jodha to be taken to a doctor practicing out of Agra town.
Jalal relented and gave his permission to Rukaiya to take Jodha along with her. The begums sat on the palanquin and went to see the doctor. While at the doctor’s clinic, a general check-up was done and medicine was handed over to an anxious Rukaiya for Jodha’s easy delivery.
As the women were returning back to Agra while on their way through a dense jungle, dark and ominous clouds surrounded the sky. This worried Jodha’s grandmother and Jalal, who was inspecting the cause of price rise due to corrupt trading practices in Agra.
While Jalal expressed his concern for Jodha’s safe journey to his courtiers, Jodha’s grandma went to see Shaguni Bai’s sage counsel to neutralize the effect of Maham Anga’s curse on Jodha.
Shaguni Bai’s says that she can’t do much to save Jodha from the effect of the curse as it is beyond her control.
As Shaguni Bai says this, strong winds start blowing in the jungle as a result of which Jodha’s palanquin get imbalanced and she falls down from it to the ground and hurting herself severely.
