Jodha Akbar: Salim shocked to learn about Jalal’s decision to marry a younger girl!
In the recent episode of Jodha Akbar, we saw the ever scheming Rukaiya Begum approaching Jodha with the news of Jalal’s remarriage with the tribal princess.
Jodha gets appalled to hear the news and leaves Jalal’s chamber in a dignified manner without uttering anything against him.
Jalal, on the other hand, looks on helplessly and sadly. He goes seeking Jodha and manages to hold a private conversation with her to make her understand that he has taken the decision for Salim’s sake.
He also assures her lovingly that only she will remain the queen of her heart no matter how many wives he adds to his harem.
Consoled with Jalal’s loving words, Jodha gives her consent for the marriage and begins preparing for it with her MIL Hamida Banu Begum.
On the other hand, Salim returns to the palace and learns about the new development from Rukaiya.
He gets angry to know that Jalal is marrying Bela ‘coz her groom has been killed and assumes that perhaps Jalal himself plotted to kill her groom to marry the tribal princess to add more land under his rule.
