Jodha Akbar: Maharana Pratap & other Rajputs ready to wage war on Jalal!
There are simultaneously two tracks are going in Jodha Akbar these days. On one hand, there is trouble brewing in the life of Jalal’s sister Bakshi Banu after the birth of her girl child. And, on the other hand, ace Rajput warrior, Maharana Pratap, is gathering forces to wage war on Jalal’s kingdom to get rule over Agra.
To sort out the matter amicably, Jalal lately met the Rajput kings and asked them to step back. However, the Rajput kings threatened Jalal to either give up his rule or face their onslaught. Hearing the threats, Jalal told them clearly that if they can boast about their force then even he won’t refrain from attacking the enemy forces. However, Jalal stressed more on peace treaty so that there is no undue harm to anyone in the battle.
At the Agra fort, Sharifuddin learns about being fooled by Bakshi about the gender of his newborn. He vows to teach her a lesson for life and goes to question her. Poor Bakshi tries defending herself but in vain.
Sharif’s anger goes over the top when he overhears some people gossiping about how Bakshi duped him.
He goes to seek revenge from Bakshi for making him a butt of jokes. On reaching Bakshi’s chamber, he takes the newborn in his hands and threatens to throw her on the ground so as to kill her. Poor Bakshi wails and pleads her husband to spare the baby’s life.
But will the malicious and cruel Sharif listen?
