Jodha Akbar: Maham Anga curses Jodha & Akbar to have their children dead!

A furious and revengeful Maham Anga hurled curses at Jalal in the recent episode for ordering the execution of her son Adham Khan.

A heartbroken and hurtful Maham Anga could not stop venting her anger at Jalal and in a fit of rage she even cursed him that even he will soon sob over the dead body of his children.

She further said that he will be doomed in future when his children won’t obey his orders and make him experience the same pain as she is going through after her son’s death.

These bitter words coming from Maham Anga hurt both Jodha and Jalal.
While Hamida Begum ushers Jodha to her chambers, Jalal orders his troops to take away Maham Anga.

Later, Jalal blames his throne for snatching his loved ones from him. One after another, right from Khan Baba, Atgah and now Maham Anga, everyone has been taken away from him for the lust of the throne. Jalal angrily sets his throne on fire to get rid of it for good. Jodha arrives to see Jalal and gets shocked to see his throne on fire. She brings mud to extinguish the fire and tries pacifying Jalal.

She tells him that no matter what happens, even if he loses his throne and title, she will be with him throughout the life.

Jodha’s soothing words calm down Jalal.

After that, Jodha goes to meet Maham Anga in the prison to have a word with her. Maham Anga, who is now planning to wage another battle on Jalal, asks Jodha whether she has come to see her mourn.

Jodha replies that she only wants to ask a question, and that is, why did she being her foster mother hurt Jalal.

Maham Anga cross questions Jodha and asks her if she is so righteous then why she did not stop Jalal from killing Adham. She goes on to say that Jodha fears her curse which is why she came to meet her. But she will never take back her curse and will see Jodha and Jalal crying for their children.

Jodha, however, answers that she will not let Maham Anga’s curse affect the Mughal heirs in any way and in future, they will rule India.

Maham Anga shouts at Jodha angrily but Jodha turns a deaf ear to her words and leaves the jail.

Will Maham Anga’s curse come true? Will Jodha be able to save her children from the curse? Looks like only future has the answers.
