Jodha Akbar: Jodha goes into labour, Birbal enters Jalal’s court!
In the recently episode of Jodha Akbar, we saw Jodha Begum getting badly injured and bleeding after she fell from her palanquin as a result of the strong winds that started blowing in the dense jungle while the begums were returning to the palace.
Jodha’s fall alerted Rukaiya and she ordered for a bigger palanquin for her. As Rukaiya saw blood oozing out of Jodha’s body, Moti bai suggested that they need to help the Rajput Princess deliver her babies otherwise it may turn risky for her. Jodha faints as a result of the unbearable labour pain thereby worrying Rukaiya and Moti.
On the other hand, we saw Birbal blaming Akbar in the market place for running his life. Angry with Birbal’s allegations, Jalal and his men tie him in chains and rbign him to the court. Jalal asks Birbal what his problem is. To this, Birbal replies hilariously that he used to be a happily married person earlier but the day his wife saw Akbar’s queens dressed in ornate jewels and clothing, she started treating him like a servant when he could not get wealth for her.
Birbal’s account of his marital issue makes Jalal, his queens and the courtiers burst into laughter. Jalal like Birbal for his sense of humour and give him work to lighten the mood o his courtiers henceforth.
After the court gets dismissed, we see a distraught Ruakaiya arriving to inform Jalal about Jodha’s miserable state.
