Jodha-Akbar: Jodha decides to leave Agra, Rukaiya apologetic for being jealous with her!
After being given the declaration from Jalal that she will be divorced after Eid, a heartbroken Jodha has decided to leave the palace for her father’s home.
And, surprise surprise. Jodha’s plight has especially touched her arch rival Rukaiya Begum’s heart. After having seen how Jodha stood in her support while Jalal was insulting her lately, Rukaiya felt regretful for the first time for harbouring jealousy in her heart for Jodha.
Rukaiya visits Jodha’s chamber to confess how she has been nursing grudge in her heart all along and says that she won’t be able to live in peace if Jalal divorces the Rajput begum for speaking in her favour.
On the other hand, Maham Anga finds Chand Begum missing form her attic and she order Adham to find her. Adham, on his part, is very confident of becoming the new King after Jalal as the masses and priests have made up their mind to remove him from kingship as soon as he marries Atifa.
Todarmal visits Jodha and he expresses his desire to leave Agra just like her. Jodha requests him not to leave Jalal in such weak state as his enemies are looking for an opportunity for strike him.
Jalal’s mother, Hamida, tries convincing Jodha to stay back with her but Jodha refuses to budge from her decision.
