Jodha Akbar: Jodha decides to give her baby to Rukaiya!
The big hearted Rajput Princess Jodha has felt the (fake) pain of Rukaiya’s longing for a child of her own.
In the new episode of Jodha Akbar, we saw Hamida and Salima induging in a discussion about Rukaiya’s plea for adopting Jodha’s baby.
While Hamida showed strict resentment against Ruakiya’s unwarranted desire, Salima being a mother herself, expressed her concern for Rukaiya’s childlessness.
Jodha, on the other hand, thinks deeply about the matter and imagines the situation where she will have a baby in her hands and Rukaiya will have her adopted baby in her hands. She feels that it will all be hunky dory if she gives one of her babies to Rukaiya as the baby will be raised well by the Mughal Begum.
Jalal comes to see Jodha and she shares her decision with him. She reasons that if Lord Krishna could be raised so lovingly by his foster mother Yashoda, then by that example, even her baby could be reared by Rukaiya.
Jalal disagrees with Jodha’s view and he fails to make her understand the complexity of the matter with his arguments. He gives up and leaves the place leaving Jodha concerned.
Later, Jalal visits Rukaiya’s chambers only to see her whining and sobbing on her fate. As soon as he leaves the chamber, Rukaiya smirks evilly and gives a vicious smile.
