Jodha Akbar: Jalal to divorce Jodha after marrying Atifa!
Despite protests from all corners of the nation against his announcement to marry an already married Atifa, Jalal is least bothered of the consequences and has ordered to crush any force rearing its head to stop him what he wills.
From the heads of states to his own subjects, everyone has been widely discussing the consequences of Jalal’s marriage with Atifa. While, some are even saying that Jalal may lose his power to the priests if he marries a married woman.
Recently, we saw Jalal assuring Atifa that even if he has to lose his throne, he will go ahead and marry her. Atifa gets worried hearing about the possibility of losing the throne if Jalal makes her his own wife. However, Jalal calms her down with sweets words of affection.
A perfume vendor visits the harem to sell scents to the emperor’s wives. Rukaiya tells Atifa to buy the most expensive scent. But, Atifa asks the vendor to give her the rose scent instead. This angers Rukaiya and she admonishes Atifa for ignoring her order.
Just then, Jalal comes and takes note of the scene. He scolds Rukaiya for rebuking Atifa unreasonably. However, Jodha intervenes and starts speaking in favour of Rukaiya.
Jodha’s interruption again irritates Jalal and he tells her that it is her habit of insulting him before everyone. He further tells her that he will free her from all the ties after marrying Atifa on Eid.
Poor Jodha, we say. Now, we have to wait and watch whether Jalal will stick to his word and divorce Jodha or reconsider his relation with her. Stay tuned.
