Jodha Akbar: Jalal agrees to give Jodha’s baby to Rukaiya but on one condition…

Finally, the adamant Rukaiya Begum has had her way as Jalal has agreed to part with ones of his babies with Jodha.

He had officially announced that one of the twins to be delivered by Jodha will be brought up by Jodha will be given to Rukaiya will full rights of a mother.

While, Rukaiya was reveling in success of her evil plan, Jalal was worried thinking whether he has really done the right thing by giving away the naïve Jodha’s baby to the stubborn Mughal Begum.

He thinks of an idea to secure the future of Jodha’s babies and goes to speak to Rukaiya.

He gives her a blank paper and asks her to write a pact with two important points in it:

# Rukaiya Begum has to fulfill all the duties of a good foster mother.

# If she fails to be a good mother, all her rights over the adopted baby will be taken away and the adoption contract will be considered null and void.

Listening to the conditions of Jalal’s contract, Rukaiya fell short of words. However, she reluctantly signed the contract and gave it to Jalal.

Content with his move to do justice with Jodha, Jalal went away.

In the series, there is another twist coming up, as Maham Anga’s daughter in law, Javeda, is pregnant with Adham’s baby. Elated to hear the news, Maham Anga, who is ailing severely, and is on her death bed, blesses Javeda.

Despite being critically ill, Maham Anga continues to be unforgiving and refuses to take back the curse she has given to Jodha and Jalal with regards to their unborn babies.

Meanwhile, the lusty Sharifuddin is planning with his father to kill Jalal and usurp his throne. He knows the secret passage that leads to Jodha’s chambers and intends to make use of that route to fulfill his plan.
