Jamai Raja: Why is Roshni’s father Shiv fooling everyone by pretending to be mentally ill?
After uniting his wife Roshni (Nia Sharma) with her rich and arrogant mother DD (Achint Kaur), Sid (Ravi Dubey) has taken up the task of making peace between DD and her estranged husband Shiv.
As the story goes, DD had broken up with Shiv about 23 years back when his ambitions became more important for him than his family. And as fate would have it, Shiv is back in DD’s life out of the blue and the latter is unable to figure out how to deal with him. Although DD has not shown any inclination to unite with Shiv, she is not willing to give him the boot either. Looking at this silver lining, Sid is trying to pick that last thread that is still binding DD and Shiv together and bring them closer.
However, DD’s mother (Apara Mehta) is the only force not in favour of her daughter’s reunion with the undeserving Shiv.
In the upcoming episode, we will see that Shiv, who is suffering for memory loss, has not actually lost his memory but is pretending to be so.
