Fans mob Anushka-Rajat of ‘Shastri Sisters’!
When the popular lead pair of COLORS’ show ‘Shastri Sisters’, Ishita Ganguly (Anushka) and Vijayendra Kumeria (Rajat) attended a recently held competition by the Starlight Dance Academy at Nehru Planetarium, fans took both the starlets by surprise.
Supporting the collective cause initiated by 5 NGOs – Akanksha Foundation, Teach for India, Salaam Bombay, Cancer Patient Aids Association, Muktaangan – along with the police constabulary contingency, the lead pair of the popular show had a gala time watching the show. The event was also supported by other stars such as Boman Irani, Shreyas Talpade, Raveen Tandon, VJ Andy, Pratyusha Banerjee and Gautam Rode. Dipika Samson of Sasural Simar Ka also performed with the NGO children and Ganesh Acharya judged the event.
When the event drew to a close, Ishita and Vijayendra stepped out of the front entrance of the gate, without realizing that there were fans waiting to mob the couple. The pair patiently posed for pictures with their fans who would not let their favorite Anushka and Rajat go! Accepting compliments graciously, the couple excused themselves after 10 minutes posing for the shutterbugs.
