Kunal Thakkur's special bond with Vishal Bhardwaj!
Actor Kunal Thakkur is all excited to be the part of Himesh Reshamiya's Xpose. He feels the film has got good positive feedback from the critics. "This is my debut film. Himesh Reshamiya saw me in a play and was impressed with my performance and thus selected me for Ronnie Mukherjee's role the role which is inspired from late Joy Mukherjee"
Kunal also adds, "I am happy that my decision on doing a play paid off. My friend and guide film maker Vishal Bharadwaj who is one of the best director in the industry advised me on joining theater. I have been getting good response for my performance and now I am waiting for Vishalji to see my performance in Xpose. I will wait for his feedback."
So is Kunal planning to work with Vishal? "Vishalji is someone who will not do something if he is not fully convinced. He will not even ask Rekhaji (his wife) to sing a song if he is not sure. Am sure if there is a character in future where he thinks I will fit in, he will surely call me. I don't ask work from Vishalji. It has been 8 long years since we know each other. We met through our common interest -tennis. We play also together and I share a great bonding with him."
Kunal Thakkur has acted in Bandini serial where he played Ronit Roy's son. He has also been part of shows like Mahabharat and Yeh Hai Aashqui. He started his acting career with Vishal Bhardwaj's film 'Blue Umbrella.'
