Rajniesh,Nikitin, Gurmeet?Fear Factor Winner’s Identity Withheld From The Finalists
In a clear and clever departure from earlier seasons this year the producers of Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi have decided to withhold the winner’s names from even the finalists.
A source from Cape Town who was part of the Fear Factor shooting says the decision to not reveal the winner’s name was taken at the last minute. “Nikitin Dheer, Gurmeet Choudhary and Rajniesh Duggal were the three finalists. As per the protocol each year they were asked to assemble for the winner’s name to be announced.But suddenly they were told that the winner would be announced in India and they’ll be informed accordingly.”
One of the contestants who did not make it to the finals says the contestants have not yet been given their full and final remuneration for participating in the show.
Says the contestant, “All of us including the host Rohit Shetty is sworn to secrecy by contract. We will be paid our final remuneration only at the end of the show.”
A source from the Channel Colors says, “This time we haven’t divulged the name of the winner even to the contestants. Every season the name of the winner filtered back to India from wherever we shot the series. The suspense surrounding the competition was thereby ruined even before the show was telecast. This time no one knows the winner, not even the winner himself.”
