Bigg Boss 8 Day 74: Pritam goes against Puneet and Gautam; Dimpy asks Diandra to stay away from Karishma!

Housemates wake up to the song ‘Ek pal ka jeena’ and once they are awake, planning and plotting starts again. Puneet and Gautam talk about cleaning kitchen properly. Puneet and Dimpy are still reeling from the Museum task fight and can’t help but talk about how Pritam is behaving as a captain.

Bigg Boss launches the judgment day task in the afternoon where captain Pritam is asked to give out three names who he thinks should be immune from next week’s evictions. Housemates take turns to convince him as to why he should choose them for immunity. Upen, Karishma, Praneet and Ali talk to Pritam separately stating their points as to why they are capable for immunity. Puneet, Dimpy and Gautam avoid convincing Pritam for their immunity while Diandra as always is least bothered.

Dimpy, Gautam and Puneet talk about contestants begging Pritam to select them for immunity task. They however have no intention to beg because he is already biased.

Pritam selects Karishma, Praneet and Dimpy's. Dimpy is shocked as a few minutes earlier she was bad mouthing Pritam. The three compete in a given task and Praneet is the first one to give up.

While the task is on Gautam comes to show an unwashed pressure cooker and makes Ali wash it properly. Sonali and Gautam start to bicker regarding cleaning utensils issue.

Karishma wins the immunity task. Pritam names Gautam and Puneet for punishment. And as punishment Gautam and Puneet are ordered to do all household chores till Bigg Boss' next order.

Teammates have divided and the punished do talk about Pritam's poor captaincy because of his foul language and not being able to judge between fair and wrong. Ali and Praneet praise Pritam for his choice of words while reasoning out in naming Puneet and Gautam. Diandra too feels that Pritam took it to a personal level and had not judged them as per task. Puneet tells Dimpy that Pritam treats himself as an uncle to get closer to women whereas he himself being such aged have never applied such tactis.

In the evening, Bigg Boss launches a popularity task where all the housemates are required to rank each other on the basis of their popularity in the show through a consensus. Housemates rank Ali number 1 as they feel he is the most entertaining contestant of the house and therefore audiences love to watch him every now and then in the show.

As a reward Bigg Boss grants relief to Ali by lifting the ‘No Captaincy’ ban put upon him. Sonali in a fit of rage throws away her number 9 placard and says that if possible housemates would have given her a rank beyond number 10. Puneet tells Dimpy that Pritam was the one to instigate boycott Ali and now they have become best friends.

Another takes place where a certain team would win pictures sent from their family members. Housemates are divided in two teams: Upen, Karishma, Pritam, Ali and Praneet in one and Gautam, Puneet, Diandra, Sonali and Dimpy in the other. Karishma's team win.

Late at night, Ali, Upen and Karishma plot to make Karishma captain. Do you think they will pass in their plotting or some more twists await them?
