Actor Gautam Gulati was present at the launch of his first film - ‘Udanchoo’ - yesterday at a special event hosted by R-Vision India Pvt. Ltd. Additionally, actress Saisha Sehgal – who comes from a family of actors – is being introduced in cinema opposite Gautam.
The function was hosted in Novotel Hotel, Mumbai. Creative director Ravindra Singh spoke highly about the script of the film. “Getting a real good script these days of content backed cinema is not an easy task. So, when Vipin came up to me with the script of this movie, we had absolutely no hesitation in green lighting it. We are all very excited about this project and are sure audiences will share the same sentiment when the movie hits the theaters.”
The film’s star cast includes, Prem Chopra, Ashutosh Rana, Bruna Abdullah, Bijendra Kala who agreed to do the film immediately after hearing the script. The film’s shooting will begin April 2015 onwards.

Speaking on the occasion, a visibly excited Vipin Parashar said, “Udanchhoo for me is a very special film as it would be my first full-length Hindi commercial film. More importantly the story of this film is very intriguing and I am really excited about this project. I am also very grateful to Mr. Ravindra Singh and R-Vision for trusting my vision for Udanchhoo, who is also providing inputs to make the script much more interesting.
“I can’t agree more with Ravindraji and Vipin. The content of ‘Udanchhoo’ is an edge-of-the seat thriller and captivating, yet entertaining. This was one of the key driving forces for me choosing it as my Bollywood debut film. I play a conman in this film and I am really grateful to the Director and Producers for reposing their faith in my ability to essay this challenging role,” added Gautam.
The film’s leading lady – Saisha Sehgal – who hails from Nashik – turned up in Mumbai to pursue her Tinsel Town dreams in 2012. After learning the nuances of acting by attending various theatre groups and acting workshops, she went on to make a career in print media. Saisha’s screen idol is Madhuri Dixit and she nurtures a talent for dance. She is a keen learner and strongly believes in being honest, dedicated and diligent towards her work.
