My character is more like to Ranveer Singh of ‘Ramleela’: Gaurav S. Bajaj on his role in ‘Piya Rangrez’
Gaurav S. Bajaj is back on-screen again in Life OK’s new venture ‘Piya Rangrez’ . The ‘Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai’ fame actor will be setting the screen ablaze with his beefed up frame and an impressive character. Word has it that he will be playing a role similar to that of Ranver Singh in ‘Ramleela’ who was a bad boy but a passionate lover. A source close to the show quashes the rumours about Gaurav’s character being identical to the Siddharth Malhotra of ‘The Villain’ and even the story of ‘Piya Rangrez’ is not inspired from ‘The Villain’ in any way.
Giving a juicy scoop of his role, Gaurav said, “For the first time ever I am playing a grey role. My character Sher Khan (who is Narayani Shastri’s son) is educated and can be rugged at one point and sophisticated at another point. The story’s backdrop is U.P and I will be sporting leather jackets and jeans. My character is more like to Ranveer Singh of ‘Ramleela’. It is also similar to Salman Khan’s macho look and is helpful by nature. I am pumping iron regularly to play the part. The production house intends setting up gym at film city on the set so that I work out daily and I don't miss out any session. It’s a career defining opportunity for me. I would be having body shots too in the show.”
