Legendary TV and film actor Farooq Sheikh's death has come as a loss to the entertainment industry. Not just his films, but, also the TV shows he had a huge fan following.

Here's taking a look at Farooq Sheikh's top TV innings:

Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai: Farooq vowed the audiences with his hosting style in Zee TV's popular celebrity talk show. Although, he was replaced with actor Suresh Oberoi in the second season of the show, there could be have been no one better at hosting than Farooq.

Ji Mantiji: The TV series was an Indian version of the famous British satirical show Yes Minister. Farooq Sheikh essayed the character of Surya Prakash Singh, the Minister of Administrative Affairs.

Srikhant: DD National's highly rated TV show, Srikant, became a hit amongst the masses, as did the role payed by Farooq in the show

Chamatkar: Sony TV's prime time series that featured Farooq Sheikh in a key role became a buzzword in several Indian households. Farooq played a man who could hear long distance conversations and even read people's mind. The serial was a laugh riot of sorts.

Do Dil Ek Jaan: This serial will be remembered for Farooq's last TV stint. Do Dil... was telecast on Life Ok, and the actor played the lead actress's father. Sources from the show say that Farooq charm on the sets was one of the highlights of their entire work experience.
