Prateik Babbar’s no show in BCL miffs Ekta Kapoor!
After making a promising debut in 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', Prateik Babbar failed to live up to everyone’s expectations. All his releases after his maiden venture have been box-office duds. It came as a pleasant surprise to the actor when he was offered to be a part of Ekta Kapoor‘s Box Cricket League as none of the producers or directors were keen on signing him for any of their upcoming projects. If not anything else, it gave him an opportunity to be on TV at prime time and thus, garner some attention.
Also, impressing Ekta would have only helped him in the longer run. Perhaps that’s why he readily agreed to be a part of the league. However, he showed up for only one of the matches and skipped the rest. Not to mention, it didn't go down to well with Ekta. Well, we wonder why Prateik chose to rub her the wrong way considering this was an opportunity for him to redeem his career (a little) by becoming a household name and getting into Ekta’s good books.
Is Prateik’s acting career doomed? To catch all the action watch Box Cricket League from Monday to Friday, 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm only on Sony Entertainment Television
