Diya aur Baati Hum: Will Bhabho compromise on her values to accept Kavita’s indecent proposal?
Sandhya’s Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela) may not be the sweetest MIL in the world but we liked how she valued her ideals and followed them with utmost devotion. She is someone who would choose to die rather than sacrificing her beliefs for some personal gains. We remember how she has reprimanded her children for going against her wish, and more recently, rebuked her daughter Chhavi for accepting money from the person she hates a lot – Kavita – Sooraj’s runway bride who is now pursuing the Rathi Family for personal gains.
So now that Bhabho has come to know that her dear Sandhya won’t be make it to Chhavi’s wedding owing to the punishment imposed by Officer Singh on her, Kavita has placed an offer before the matriarch that has left her in deep thought.
The deal is to help Kavita clear her image before the members of the society, where the Rathi family resides, so that she could secure her political party’s vote bank without any glitch. In return for the favour, Kavita has offered to use her connections to clear all the hurdles on Sandhya’s way to the IPS best cadet’s trophy. It sounds like a tempting deal that can put to rest Bhabho’s worries for her son’s married life. But the question is will Bhabho really tantalized by the proposal and say yes to it?
And if she does, what about the faith that she had on Sandhya’s capabilities until now? Won’t it be like doubting Sandhya prowess? And most importantly, will the honest Sandhya be able to live with the success that has come as a result of nepotism? We have a strong feeling that Bhabho will make an exception this time for her family's sake. Let's wait and watch if this is exactly what she does.
