Diya aur Baati Hum: Vikram sends Meenakshi to jail for baby swapping!
Meenakshi’s truth is finally out of the closet! The Rathis bahu has admitted that she secretly swapped her girl child Misri with Taisa’s grandson Kanha as soon as they were born.
In the recent episodes, we saw Suraj arriving with Zakir’s police team to stop Misri’s marriage. The police arrests everyone involved and Zakir tells Suraj that legal action against Meenakshi is certain as baby swapping is a crime.
Suraj and Meena return back home with Misri as do Vikram, Emily and Sandhya.
Looking at Vikram, Misri holds his hand as well as Kanha too rushes towards him to hold his hand. Vikram gets worried looking at both the children holding his hands.
Suraj urges Meena to tell the truth about Kanha and Misri. Meenakshi hesitates a bit initially, but finally gathers courage to tell the truth to Bhabhasa and Bhabho. The fact shocks Bhabho and Bhabhasa and they refuse to believe her. Meena brings a bamboo stick and asks Bhabho to punish her in such a way that she does not forget till her last breath.
Zakir arrives at the house with his team to arrest Meena. Vikram tells everyone that he had filed a complaint against Meena for swapping babies. Meena is arrested by the police and taken away while everyone looks on helplessly.
In the coming episodes, we will see Suraj advising Vikram to forgive and forget and bring Meena home. But will it be easy for Vikram to do so? Find out in the next post.
