Diya Aur Baati Hum: Suraj, Sandhya find Rathi children begging on the streets; Bhabho rebukes Meenakshi & Emily for hiring Bela
After over extending Sandhya’s kidney donation track, the makers of Diya Aur… have turned now their focus on her childlessness. The latest episode showed Bhabho firmly asking Suraj and Sandhya to think about starting a family. Suraj gets worried about trying for a baby at a time when Sandhya is recovering from a surgery.
He thinks about sharing the truth with Bhabho but Sandhya asks him to refrain by saying that she would speak to the doctor to come up with a solution. Finally, they reach Pushkar but their car gets stuck in a traffic jam. Meanwhile, Sandhya and Suraj run into Misri and Pari who they find begging on the streets. Misri informs them that the new house maid Bela brought them to beg on the road. Sandhya gets furious to hear this and vows to teach Bela a tough lesson. Bhabho curses her fate to see her grandchildren suffering in her absence and makes haste to reach home so as to pull-up her daughters-in-law Meenakshi and Emily for their sheer negligence.
Bhabho, Bhabhasa, Sandhya, Suraj, Chhavi and Chotu arrive at the Rathi house. Meenakshi welcomes them with a fake smile and brags about managing the house well in their absence. Meenakshi and Emily both open up about hiring a maid who does all the work like a pro. Bhabho brings Pari and Misri before her bahus but they fail to identify their children.
When Bhabho removes the dirty make-up from the face of the little ones, Meena and Emily get shocked to see their children in a poor state. Vikram gets appalled to witness this scene and feels like blasting Bela. Sandhya tells them that Bela has run away but the police will find her soon. She asks Meenakshi and Emily to share Bela’s contact number or address so that the police could easily nab her.
To Sandhya’s shock and dismay, Meenakshi and Emily reveal that they failed to make note of Bela’s contact details.
