Diya aur Baati Hum: Sandhya sacrifices her self-respect for Suraj’s sake!
Sandhya once again proved that she is an ideal wife and an ideal daughter-in-law.
Kavita had put forth a condition that she will only return Suraj’s shop if Sandhya comes to her and beg for it. However, Suraj disliked the proposal as he respects his wife too much to accept such a deal.
Now that the verification papers given to Sandhya by the income tax officer got soiled accidently, thereby, leaving no sign of hope to retrieve Suraj’s shop. Sandhya was left with no choice but to accept Kavita’s offer as a dutiful wife.
In the latest episode, we saw her asking Suraj to fill her hair parting with vermillion and she even sought everyone’s blessings before stepping out of the house to do her patni dharm.

But we know how bad Kavita is. She is not the one to accept defeat so easily and her ego is so huge that we wonder whether she will let Sandhya go that easily.
