Diya aur Baati Hum: Sandhya down with illness in the middle of training! What next?
Despite proving herself in the cycle race at the IPS training camp, Sandhya has been at the receiving end of two people who we can judge to be her worst critics so far.
In the latest episode of Diya aur…, we witnessed poor Sandhya getting stricken with exhaustion and dehydration after the challenging ordeal that the cycle race was. She is rushed to the doctor who asks her for complete bed rest for three days.
However, this leave request is not received too kindly by Officer Singh, and especially by Officer Roy. The latter censures Sandhya for getting bogged down by only one hurdle that came on her pathway. He further reprimands her for lack of enough will power to achieve her goal. Apparently, Sandhya gets immensely disturbed by Officer Roy’s not-so-kind-words.
If that was not enough, the nasty MIL, Bhabho, expresses distaste over Sandhya attaining 18th position in the cycle race instead of rank 1. While, the entire family is jubilant at Sandhya’a win, only Bhabho appears in a sad state.
Tension is definitely going to build up for Sandhya and we foresee more challenges awaiting to test her patience in the coming days.
