Celebrations on the sets as ‘Diya aur Baati Hum’ completes 700 Episodes!
It was a moment to be rejoiced by Team ‘Diya aur Baati Hum’ as the show reached yet another milestone of its successful journey.
The show that airs on Star Plus completed 700 episodes yesterday. DABH ranks as the most watched and rated show in the non-fiction TRP listings. The series went on air in 29 August 2011 and the makers have never looked back since then. The show has managed a steady rise in the popularity charts for its unique appeal.
It narrates the story of an ambitious yet grounded girl called Sandhya (Deepika Singh) who gets married into an orthodox family. However, she finds support and unconditional love in the form of her husband Suraj (Anas Rashid). Despite having the typical saas-bahu undertones common in regular Indian soaps, DABH has done a good job in sending across a message of undying courage and unrelenting attitude to realize one’s professional goals.
