And it has proved to be a boon for DKDM’s lead actor Mohit Raina, who came into limelight from being a flop actor only after starring in the show. Everyone from the industry has liked Mohit as Shiva a lot. Nikhil Sinha could not stop gushing about Mohit in a press interview recently. He said, "No doubt the casting of the show plays a big role in the success of the show. Mohit is a dedicated actor in the industry who has proved himself. Playing a character like Shiva is not an easy job and when I signed him for the show, I was confident that he will pull this one." Nikhil said that he selected Mohit for his typical Kashmiri nose and broad forehead which was apt for Lord Shiva's character.
Mohit has been praised by many industry stars such as Nitish Bhardwaj, who played Krishma in B.R. Chopra’s Mahabharat.
