The upcoming episode of Zing TV’s ‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya’ is going to be a special one as it will pay a tribute to the ill-fated and immemorial story of ‘Devdas’.
The Valentine’s Day special episode will narrate the legendary story with a modern twist. Childhood lovers Dev (Harshad Arora) and Pari (Anita Hassanandani) are set asunder by the former’s rich family and he goes abroad for his education. Years by pass and a time comes when a grown-up Dev returns to his Paro. As the romance between the couple grows into a full-fledged affair, Dev’s growing mood swings, situational misunderstandings and his family’s arrogance breaks Paro’s heart and trust both. However, by the time Dev realises his mistake, the damage is already done. He loses Paro to someone else, forever!
Distraught with the break-up, in an archetypal fashion, Dev finds refuge in alcohol and Chandani’s (Panchi Bora) company, who a prostitute by profession. Chandani falls in love with Devdas and starts nurturing hopes to become one with him.
But will this story end in Devdas’s tragic death or his union with Chandani? Will Devdas embrace Chandani’s love and leave his past behind?
