Diya aur Bati Hum: What’s happening in the show?

The current track of DABH is getting interesting day by day as the character Rajkumaar, who had helped the show in rising up the TRP charts earlier, is back again and how!

We saw how RK and his sister Disha have been trying to seek revenge from the Rathis. Even Disha secretly helped RK plan an escape from the prison. But Sandhya’s smartness outwitted the evil doers and RK was brought back to his right place by the cop.

In the new episode of DABH, we saw Sandhya and Zakir taking RK to a residential area and keeping him handcuffed in a house. The idea was to cut off network of RK with his helpers and confuse the people who are helping him escape by placing him in a populated zone.
To figure out where Sandhya has hidden RK, Disha followed her but could not reach RK as Sandhya went about changing her appearance to distract any one following her.

Although, RK was able to see Disha from his room’s window at the jail house, his sister could not do so and kept figuring out her brother’s whereabouts anxiously.

At the Rathi house, to harm Prema, a jealous Meenakshi ended up committing another error by heating up a lamp and then placing it in place of the lamp to be lit up by Prema at Vikram’s saree shop.

However, the plan went kaput when Prema dropped the hot lamp to avoid getting burnt and it ended up burning the shop.

Shocked to see the shop being burnt, the onlookers and members of Meena’s family did their best to extinguish the fire.

Meenakshi tried putting the blame on Prema for the fire to throw her out of Vikram’s life and shop.

However, Vikram caught Meena’s lie when he saw that the lamp did not belong to his shop but was taken from the temple of the house. He pulled up Meena for lying blatantly and passing the buck on Prema. He slapped her in public for her repeated attempts to trouble him and other people and disowned her.

A wailing Meena cursed Prema for causing problems in her marital life and referred to her as her sauten. However, Vikram did not budge from his stand and even declared that he will make Prema as Meena’s sauten.

Vikram has developed a soft corner for Prema. But will he end up breaking all ties with Meena for her sake? Will Disha be able to find out the location of RK?
