Abhiram Nain who was previously called Yashdeep Nain and had done 'Yeh Ishq Hai' is all set to return to TV after two years to play Ajatshatru in B.K. Modi’s 'Buddha' on Zee TV.

On his role, the actor said, “I am playing Ajatshatru. He was one of the most ambitious warrior of his time. He was sharp, intelligent, educated and a skilled warrior. He became one of the most powerful king and ruled Magadha. But after all these achievement, he realised the facts of life and ends up being a follower of Lord Buddha. He started believing in a balanced life. Such a variation in the character graph pulled me to play this character”.

On being asked why he shifted back to his original name, Abhiram Nain, from being called Yashdeep Nain earlier, he said, “My father calls me Abhiram since my birth. Although, I like both names Abhiram as well as Yashdeep, yet I have been more inclined to be known as Abhiram. For long time I had this thought to change my name to Abhiram, and, in December I made it legal by changing the name officially”
