The bindass girl, Renee Dhyani of ‘Roadies’ fame, who had to leave the house following her elimination yesterday from ‘Bigg Boss 8’, spoke to Pinkvilla.com about losing out on the chance to enjoy captaincy, the tough choices she made, some controversial housemates and much more. Excerpts from the interview:

Were you expecting to be evicted so soon?

It was very hard for me. I was 50 percent sure I would leave the house.

It must have been difficult to take up BB when you had your ailing parents look after.

I am very close to my father. I am not close to my mother that much. I was not informed about my father’s heart attack. I had already signed the contract with Bigg Boss makers by then. Maa ki baatein bhi samajh nahin aarahi thi, so my sister told me about the whole matter. But my family supported me and told me to go ahead with my work. The problem with the BB house is that if you show your weakness, then they will hound you to pull you down. The housemates tend to judge very easily. Since I was a new entrant, I had less advantage over others.

How was the experience of being the BB house?

I went through missed emotions. I was crying, happy, cooking, washing and at times without food and with ups and downs.

You became the captain this week and the eviction ruined the chance you got.

I felt bad about it. But it is fine now.

Do the housemates purposely argue and fight with each other or they appear is real?

Once you enter the house, you become unpredictable. Everyone in the house has a different temperament. Puneetji has a volatile temper, Diandra is upfront and (Karishma) Tanna is selfish. But jab itne alag log ate hai to hi Bigg Boss banta hai. (People from different walks of life make Bigg Boss)

What are your thoughts on Ali and the slapping incident involving him and Sonali?

When I entered the house, I saw that Ali has a habit of being a gossip monger and a double dholki. But later, I realized that he is one member who is providing entertainment to the viewers by leaking secrets, gossips etc.

As far as the slapping controversy is concerned, I had warned Ali to never play with a girl’s image. But he forgets that counsel and often crosses the line while joking. That is why people are against him in the house.

What’s next?

I want to complete some pending projects that I left mid-way. Also, I want to push myself to get a break on Television. I don’t want to do reality shows anymore. I want to break my on-screen image by doing TV soaps.
