You have seen Soni Singh play a vamp on Television, but inside Bigg Boss house she came across as a person, full of entertainment, wit and a never ending energy. Soni, was one of the most lively and spirited contestant of the Bigg Boss house. In a telephonic conversation with Pinkvilla.com, Soni shares her experience, games played inside the house and much more. Read on:

Share your experience about staying inside the house.

I hadn't imagined before entering the house that it would be so awesome. I had seen it from outside in previous seasons and those things happening to me all inside the house, was so thrilling! Everything from tasks, handling ration, cooking, the fights, the misunderstandings and patch up session, everything has been just great!

Were you expecting to get voted out so soon?

After Deepshikhaji left, I was shocked and believed anything can happen. I didn't want to go so soon. I gave my 100% in everything. I guess if I hadn’t been nominated by Preetam and Praneet, I would have still been inside the house. I was hurt when they nominated me.

How would you justify yourself getting nominated in spite of not being part of too many tiffs?

Everything is a game there. During Devil vs Heroes task I left it as it was getting way too complicated. Hence, housemates voted against me. Whereas I nominated Sonali because she really is very lazy and maybe I thought if I nominate her, she would pull up her socks and work more seriously.

Sonali had slammed foam on your face deliberately and then we saw you styling your hair. How did things patch up between you two?

I don’t know how much is shown to the people, but, after that episode, Sonali had asked for forgiveness. She said, “sorry” and I said “ok” and things became normal between us. I don’t hold grudge against anybody and we all eat, sleep and stay together so things need to sort out.

What would you say about Gautam and Sonali’s budding romance?

(After much pause and a laugh) We always see them together. They are very close friends. But what’s happening between them, trust me, only they can say.

People questioned about Upen and your’s brother-sister bond. How would you justify yourself?

I am glad that the question was brought up and cleared. What I share with Upen is what I share with my own brother. If people have problem with that, they need to deal with it, not I. She also said ‘sorry’ and even Salman Sir didn't ever point at us being wrong. Our bond is genuine.

Apart from Upen, who were you close to inside the house?

I was very close to Karishma, Sushant and Diandra. I also liked Praneet because he was always good to me.

What do you think about Ali as a captain? Is he playing fair?

He is funny. Really, really funny. I was very angry at first. In fact, we all were. We were living like a family and suddenly we felt like an intruder came in as a boss. He was rude at times in first week. Later, we got to know him better. But he is very funny.

People had issues with your food intake. Please explain why?

We had to maintain ration for four times a day and Preetam was responsible to maintain it. I used to intake my food all at once instead of four times. So obviously instead of two I used to take 3 chapatis as I wouldn't be having other people. So in that case they had problem. They thought I was eating more. I even used to cook my own food as I had problem with non-veg and veg getting mixed up. I used to share my food with Upen, even there they had problem. I was sharing my part of food. People didn't understand logic.

Has Bigg Boss brought any change in your personality?

I am a strong person. After Bigg Boss, I have started to value things a bit more. Like, e.g. I’ll think twice before throwing away food.
