‘Bigg Boss 8’ contestant Sonali Raut may seem like a confused character to the viewers, but in real life her parents have no qualms about her different outlook and actions. What more, Mr. and Mrs. Raut are very cool parents as neither they mind her apparent laziness nor her link-ups!

During a conversation with Colors team, Sonali’s parents were questioned about their views on their daughter’s much-hyped and criticized laziness. Surprisingly, the parents showed no resentment towards Sonali’s lazy attitude towards house chores and her father said, “Since childhood Sonali has been pampered a lot and we never gave her a chance to work at home. She’s her Daddy’s favorite girl at home. I think in the Bigg Boss house also she’s the youngest so others should understand that and treat her with respect.”

Her mother voiced the same opinion and revealed Sonali has been brought up like a princess by her.

They also cleared the air about having any issue with Sonali’s smoking or flirting habits and censured Diandra for assuming that they will disown Sonali.
“Whatever said and done as parents it is our duty to take care of our daughter and no one like Diandra can tell us otherwise. In fact from the time I’ve seen the physical fight between Diandra and Sonali during a task I’ve been keeping unwell. It pained me much to see Sonali in tears and the way Diandra treated her,” said Sonali’s father.

The parents also expressed their views regarding the two handsome men of the house – Upen and Gautam – as Sonali has been linked with both of them, more so with Upen.

While Sonali’s father does not hold good views about Gautam, her mother is open to accept anyone the actress chooses as her partner.

“I do not like Gautam at all. He doesn’t know how to talk and he talks very rudely to Sonali. Upen, on the other hand, at least treats her with respect. In retrospect I would not choose any of the two,” stated Mr. Raut who happens to be a Retired Asst. Commissioner of Police.

And yes, not pleased with Ali’s behaviour towards Sonali, the parents shared that they would like to speak to him but only if he permits them for the talk.

What are your thoughts on their views, readers? They sound like cool parents. But are they not too liberal in their views.
