'Bigg Boss 8' Day 60: Romance blooms as Gautam flirts openly with a blushing Diandra; Puneet & Upen fight it out for captaincy!

In today’s episode, we saw Diandra and Gautam flirting with each other in the changing room with no one but only Karishma around to witness the scene.

They fix a poolside date for the following day. Gautam asks Diandra to keep her mood fine but she relies that it would all depend on the kind of mood she sleeps with at night.

Bigg Boss assigns a new power to Gautam. Every contestant approaches Gautam one by one and puts forth his candidature for captaincy.

Pritam is the first person to approach Gautam. He says besides getting immune from nominations for one week, the position of captaincy would make him more disciplined.

Karishma says she wants to be positive, fair and keep everyone happy under her captaincy.

Diandra comes after Karishma but she shows reluctance for the post of captaincy. Instead, she roots for Pritam as the right candidate.

Praneet says he does not want to become the captain but nominates Puneet for the job.

Dimpy says she is the right nominee ‘coz she is fair, strict and frank.

Puneet nominates Pritam for the role.

Sonali says she is good for captaincy ‘coz she is fair, neutral ad has no issues with anyone.

Upen says he wants to become a captain to prove he was not partial during his captaincy. earlier. Gautam begs to differ with Upen but the latter holds on to his point.

Ali nominates Puneet and Dimpy for the captaincy role.

Finally, Gautam nominates Puneet for the role of captaincy – a decision welcomed by most of the housemates.

Then after, comes the turn for Gautam to nominate one person who behaved in an unwated manner during his reign. Gautam picks many violators including Diandra, Karishma, Sonali and Pritam. However, Pritam is cornered for breaking maximum number of rules under Gautam’s captaincy. As a punishment, BB orders Pritam to sift rice from wheat from a heavy sack of the grains.

Everyone’s heart goes out to Pritam for the tedious task he has been allotted but he takes it sportingly.

As hours pass by, Gautam starts taking pity on Pritam and seeks forgiveness for him from BB or division of work amongst P3G. After a few hours, BB allows Pritam to walk out of the punishment room freely.

P3G rejoice at this event and share a warm hug!

Later, Gautam and Diandra flirt once again in the changing room. Gautam asks her if she won’t exchange phone numbers now. She tells him with a smile to change as their equation may go for a toss again. Gautam sings a song to tease Diandra and she blushes at the gesture. He coaxes her to cross that phase and move on.

He teases her further by saying he would hug her, kiss her! Diandra leaves the room blushing and smiling.

BB gives a new task to Upen and Puneet - Jo Kahunga Sach Kahunga – as a part of which the contenders for captaincy have to be frank and truthful in their speech while talking about their plus points as well as other person’s drawbacks for the role.

Puneet comes first to speak about himself and says he won’t let the house rules to break under his captaincy. He further adds that for him Upen is a good boy but not meant for the house as he is of another world.

Upen turns up next on the platform to put forth his views. He alleges Puneet for being partial towards P3G. About himself, Upen says he wants to prove that he was not a biased captain by regaining the position once again.

Next, Puneet and Upen begin telling what they think about the every contestant one by one. Puneet calls Nigaar a drama queen who sheds crocodile tears. He refers to Karishma as selfish and questions Ali’s ethics and upbringing for the way he deals with women. Upen calls Karishma stubborn and tells Diandra how she has a weakness of judging people wrongly.

Next, Upen tells Ali that he has a good sense of humour but he often crosses the line of decency which is not appreciable. Ali gets affected by the allegations on his character and with tears in his eyes says that he has served his ailing mother devotedly which proves what he feels towards womankind and has never disrespected any woman in his life.

At dinner time, Upen and Puneet put their differences aside and share a hug. Puneet appreciates Upen for his qualities and warms up to him. Gautam too joins the duo and shares a hug with Upen.

All may look hunky-dory by the end of the day but as they say picture abhi baaki hai and in the BB game friendships are as fragile as the glass-walled BB house. What say?
